‘Drifting Towards a Dream’

2014

Collaboration with Bihn Pho.

This was the last piece I made with my dear friend Binh before he sadly passed away. The initial concept for these Waka (canoe) pieces came to me in a dream in 2000 and has lead to a series of work based on boats and my love of sailing. On my travels in the US I got to spend many wonderful times with Bihn and his family and both our work is largely inspired by our dreams and life experiences.
