‘Downhill Run’

2016

I was commission by a client who races centerboard yachts on a lake in Wisconsin to make a piece that reflects the speed and chaos of a fleet of yachts racing. A downhill run in a fleet of boats jostling for the best wind is as thrilling as it gets, especially gybing under full spinnaker to get clear air with the spray, and the curses, flying!
