‘Mangopare Vessel’

The Mangopare (Hammerhead Shark) is a symbol for strength, agility and resilience in Maori culture. Other carved and textured elements represent the coastal environments of NZ that are my happy place and not as resilient as we may hope. We must take care of our oceans, coasts and all that reside in them.

Maple, Mulga, Copper, Metallic Thread, India Ink and Oil finish.
